                                                                                            HEAVEN

Because no one is without sin, except for Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and therefore unable to get into Heaven, Jesus willingly gave His life to pay our sin debt. God, the Father pleased with Christ’s sacrifice raised Him to life on the third day.

Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the One who died, but even more, has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. Romans 8:34 HCSB

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NIV

And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of Heaven. “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” Luke 3:22 NASB

"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NIV

"That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 NIV

Heaven is a real place and God is there

The Lord looks down from heaven; He observes everyone. Psalm 33:13 HCSB

“Therefore, everyone who will acknowledge Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in Heaven.” Matthew 10:32 KJV

And behold, a Voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
Matthew 3:17 NASB

Then after speaking to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into Heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. Mark 16:19 KJV

Heaven is a beautiful place

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. Revelation 21:21 NASB For more see Revelation 21:10-27

In Heaven believers will see Jesus face to face

They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:4-5 NASB

In Heaven there is no suffering, no sorrow, no crime, no poverty, no night, no death

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat;  for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:16 NASB

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer because the previous things have passed away. Revelation 21:4 HCSB

The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. Each day its gates will never close because it will never be night there. They will bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. Nothing profane will ever enter it: no one who does what is vile or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:24-29 HCSB

In Heaven people from every nation will worship God

After this, I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb! Revelation 7:9-10 HCSB

In Heaven Jesus has prepared a place for each believer

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you.  If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. John 14:2-3 HCSB

But they now desire a better place—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:16 HCSB

In Heaven we will see and know each other

When Paul writes to believers who grieve the loss of a loved one, he offers them this comfort: “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air...”
1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV

King David had an infant son who died. When the little boy died, David said, “But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I’ll go to him, but he will never return to me. 2 Samuel 12:23. HCSB

Jesus told his disciples, “But I tell you, from this moment I will not drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it in a new way in My Father’s kingdom with you.” Matthew 26:29 HCSB

When the glory of Jesus was revealed in the transfiguration, we are told “And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.” Matthew 17:3 NASB

Jesus' words to the penitent thief on the cross, And He said to him, “I assure you: Today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43 HSCB

In Heaven there are rewards for followers of Christ

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven. Matthew 5:16 NASB

Those who are persecuted for righteousness are blessed, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me. Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:10-12 HCSB

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people, to be seen by them. Otherwise, you will have no reward from your Father in Heaven. Matthew 6:1 HCSB

But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal. Matthew 6:20 NASB

If you are not sure you are going to heaven, now is the time to make the decision to tell God that you are sorry for your sins, ask for his forgiveness and invite Jesus into your heart. The words alone in the following prayer won’t save you, but if you are serious, pray this prayer of commitment:

Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and I'm sorry for my sins, please forgive me. Thank You for dying in my place on the cross. I know you rose from the dead. Come into my life, take over my life, and give me a brand-new life, in Your name I pray.

Welcome to the family of God! Now tell someone about your new commitment!

                                                                                          HELL

Hell is a real place

Not only is Hell a real place of eternal torment, but Hell is a blazing furnace of unquenchable fire where people weep in never-ending agony. According to science, the hotter the fire the less light will be emitted. The dark space in the middle of the fire is known as blackbody radiation. Hell is void of light, a place of outer darkness. See Mark 9:43; Matthew 13:42 and Matthew 25:30

In Luke:16:19-31, Jesus tells us the parable about a rich man who goes to Hell, and how he is in excruciating pain because of the intense fire. The man longs for relief from his suffering and also for someone to warn his brothers so they don’t end up in Hell like him. However, a great chasm separates Hell from the living, and no one is able to cross over it to help him. His suffering will go on for eternity. Read Luke 16:19-31

Hell was created for Satan and his angels

Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man. People only go to Hell because they refuse God’s gift of redemption and salvation paid for by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. Hell is the only alternative to Heaven, there is no “in-between demilitarized zone.” Rejecting God’s gift becomes the choice to share eternity with the devil and his fallen angels, who rebelled against God.

The Bible says: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 NASB

Jesus will say, ”Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.” Matthew 25:41 NASB

Jesus said,” Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.” Matthew 10:28 NASB

“These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:46 NASB

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV

If you are not sure you are going to heaven, now is the time to make the decision to tell God that you are sorry for your sins, ask for his forgiveness and invite Jesus into your heart.

If you are serious, you can pray this prayer of commitment:

Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and I'm sorry for my sins, forgive me. Thank You for dying in my place on the cross. I know you rose from the dead. Come into my life, take over my life, and give me a brand-new life, in Your Name I pray.
